Your Purchase

Ordering on-line is hassle – free. Simply take your time to view our on-line shop and then place your chosen goods into the shopping cart. Then, click on “checkout” and give us the information we’ll require for completion and delivery of your purchase.

We use the PayPal system to process payments. This allows you to pay either by credit card, debit card or using a PayPal account

Our notification to you that we have received your order does not create a contract, which will arise only when we have advised you that your order has been accepted by us.

This means that we will not be contractually bound if, for example, we have inadvertently wrongly priced an item or if we cannot, after all, let you have the goods which you have requested.

Should the price of goods vary after you have placed your order, we shall, of course, advise you accordingly and afford you the choice of either cancelling your order or proceeding with your purchase at the new price.

Dispatch

Deliveries within the United Kingdom:
These will be by a courier, who will require an authorised signature to confirm delivery and receipt of the order.

Delivery schedule

Your order for dispatch to a UK address should normally arrive within 5-10 working days.
Although It is advantageous to try to ensure that someone is available to acknowledge receipt of delivery of the order at the dispatch address, should you indicate to us (in writing when placing your order) that possibly no-one may be available to take delivery, we can instruct the courier to leave the goods at a designated point at your address, without formal proof of receipt. We would not, however, be liable for their subsequent loss or theft of the goods.

Should the goods be returned to us, delivery having failed through the absence of a signatory authorised by the customer, we shall require advance payment of any subsequent delivery costs.

It is important to note that progress of dispatch by Royal Mail cannot be monitored.

Where the services of a decorator or other tradesman or craftsman are likely to be required with regard to the goods which you have ordered from us, be sure to book such persons to commence work only after the goods have arrived.

ESSENTIAL

– On receipt of your order, please immediately and carefully examine the packaging. Should this appear damaged, It is vital that when signing to confirm receipt, you add the words “as damaged” and where applicable, delete any alternative which may, for example, state “intact”. Failure to do so will not entitle you to any payment of appropriate compensation by us.

Should we be out of stock of all or some of the items at the time that you initially placed your order, we shall notify you forthwith and inform you of the new likely delivery date, should you choose to proceed with your order. If you prefer, you can to cancel your order and you will receive a full refund.

Value Added Tax

All orders submitted* within the European Union, for delivery* within the The European Union are subject to VAT, presently at 17.5% of total cost, but subject to change at short notice.
All sensitive information relating to credit card or debit card details is handled directly by PayPal, you can be assured of a high standard of security end protection

We are pleased to send you samples on request. This is because although we constantly strive to represent true shades and colours, their correct depiction cannot be guaranteed, since shades and colour of a particular item often vary according to the monitor on which they are viewed.

At POSITIVE CREATIONS, we will not divulge any details supplied by our customers, save to persons necessarily involved in preparation and completion of our customers’ orders.

Cookies allow successful completion and delivery of your website order, by affording full access to your shopping cart at all times.

Returns

Goods, whether or not defective
These should only be returned by prior arrangement with our customer service department, such arrangement to be finalised within 14 working days of receipt of the goods by the customer.

Once a return date has been agreed, goods must be received by us on or before the agreed date, failing which, where a refund or replacement would normally be appropriate, as in the case of faulty goods, no refund or replacement will be forthcoming.

Defective goods

As stated above, should these be received by us after the agreed date, no refund of the cost of the goods will be made and reimbursement of the cost of postage and package will not be forthcoming.

Goods which are not faulty or defective

The cost of returning items which are not defective and in compliance with the terms of the order must be borne by the customer and will not be refunded. A charge of £9.50 will apply where a courier is used for collection.

Furthermore, no less than 6 rolls of wallpaper or 6 metres of fabric are valid for returns.

Important

Please note that we are unable to accept the return of any fabric or other item ordered, which has been used, cut or altered in any way, by any means, including subsequent treatment thereof.
